Community Outreach

The GBTA Nebraska Iowa Chapter is dedicated to giving back to our community.   With this in mind, our Chapter has chosen to focus our volunteer efforts for 2018 to support the non-profit organization of The Coalition for Human Trafficking.

This organization is a natural fit with business travel, our Chapter and the commitment of the Global Business Travel Association's Sustainability Committee.  One of the pillars in the mission of the GBTA Sustainability Committee is to reduce the human rights risks in the business travel supply chain as well as support EPCAT (a non-governmental organization and a global network of civil society organisations exclusively dedicated to ending the commercial sexual exploitation of children).

Throughout 2018 we will be involved in bringing awareness to The Coalition on Human Trafficking through fundraising and volunteer opportunities.

With over 514 million domestic U.S. business trips occurring ever year, traveler awareness has the potential to create a meaningful impact to end child prostitution and #trafficking. Here's how travelers, buyers & suppliers can make a difference: @ECPATUSA
